We take cash only for both deposits and tattoo sessions, so make sure you have $300 ready to go! The deposit is required to book the appointment, and we can’t proceed without it. If you have any additional info or references get those ready too. The more info you can give me the better!
Please take a shower and brush your teeth! Don’t make me suffer with body odors please! Please also shave and exfoliate the area where your tattoo will go. Make sure to eat a really big breakfast before you head over. Drink lots of water and try not to overdo it with caffeine. Don’t drink alcohol for 24 hours prior to your appointment . Bring snacks, warm clothes or a blanket, and a pillow. If you need any pain relievers, Tylenol is recommended as it doesn’t thin your blood. Please bring enough cash to cover at least the $1400 day rate. We do have an ATM if more cash is needed. Please do not use any numbing cream without talking to me about it first.
I always do free touch ups within 6 months of your final session! I want your tattoo to be perfect, so if you notice any spots that didn’t heal perfectly please let me know! I’ll get you back in as soon as I can to perfect those little details. *Any damage from accidents, poor skincare, infections, sun damage, or poor healing as a result of using numbing creams will be subject to additional charges.*
Take the wrap off when you get home and gently wash your tattoo with unscented antibacterial soap, then pat dry with a paper towel (no regular towels; they have germs), then apply a thin layer of the black after inked packet. Don’t drown it, a thin sheen will do. Continue to wash 3 times daily for the first 3 days, while keeping a layer of after inked on it at all times. Only apply with clean fingers. The main goal during this time is to avoid scabbing and infections. Oozing clear fluid, blood and ink is normal; try to keep it from building up by washing it. On day 4 you can reduce washing to once per day, and start using the white after inked packet. That can be applied as many times as needed to help with itching and flaking.
You don’t need to do much with recovery derm! Keep it on for up to 5 days. You can shower, work out, wear clothing, and everything else as if there’s no tattoo there. Make sure to watch for signs of infection! If it looks suspicious take the derm off immediately. If the derm lifts and part of the tattoo becomes exposed, remove the wrap early. To remove it, gently peel a small corner up, and while in the shower let the water hit it to loosen the adhesive while you slowly peel the rest off.
